Harrison Lake is the village's real landscape. It stretches north into the mountains, with the town tucked around its southern beach and promenade.
On a short visit, the lake is for walking, swimming in summer, or renting a kayak when the weather is calm. It is also the view that makes the hot-springs village feel like more than a cluster of resort buildings.
