Panorama Mountain Resort is the big mountain reason many travellers base themselves in Invermere. In winter it has a full ski area with high alpine terrain; in summer the lifts shift toward biking, hiking, golf, and family activities.
The resort is not in town, but it is close enough to shape Invermere's travel rhythm. Stay in Invermere if you want the lake and town services with mountain access up the road.
