Canadian Museum of Flight

The Canadian Museum of Flight occupies a large hangar at Langley Regional Airport and houses one of Canada's most comprehensive collections of historic aircraft. Exhibits span from early bush planes that opened up the Canadian north to Second World War fighters and trainers, with most aircraft displayed in flying condition or actively being restored. The de Havilland Beaver — the bush plane that defined remote Canadian aviation — is well represented.

The collection of around 40 aircraft includes several rarities: a Canadair CT-114 Tutor, the jet trainer used by the Snowbirds, and vintage Harvards and Tigermotths in original livery. Volunteers are often working on restorations during opening hours, and many of them have direct experience with the planes they're working on. The museum is small but focused, and it doesn't take more than two hours to see everything properly.
