Sombrio Beach

Wild Juan de Fuca coast beach with surf, cobbles, forest edges, and a trailhead feel.

Sombrio Beach sits east of Port Renfrew within Juan de Fuca Provincial Park. It has a wilder feel than the town beaches: cobbles, surf, forest, and hikers moving along the marine trail.

It is best for walkers, surfers, and people who like the west coast a little rough. Check access and tides before setting out, and expect mud if the weather has been wet.
