Rossland is on Highway 3B, about 10 km from Trail and 36 km from Castlegar. Trail Regional Airport is the closest airport, with Castlegar and Kelowna as larger regional options. In winter, airport shuttles may run to Red Mountain, but book ahead rather than assuming same-day space.
BC Transit links Rossland with Trail and other West Kootenay communities. A car is still the simplest way to reach trailheads, ski lifts, and nearby towns.
