The Rossland Museum and Discovery Centre is the best first stop if you want the town to make sense. Its exhibits connect the gold rush, the local geology, the Le Roi mine, and the ski culture that later reshaped Rossland.
The museum also serves as the visitor centre, so it is practical as well as interesting. Ask about walking-tour material before heading into town.
