East Sooke Regional Park

East Sooke Regional Park is the strongest reason to come this way from Victoria. More than 50 km of trails cross rainforest, pocket beaches, rocky headlands, and exposed shore where the Strait of Juan de Fuca opens toward the Olympic Mountains.

The Coast Trail is the classic choice if you have time and sturdy shoes. For an easier visit, use Aylard Farm for beach access and shorter loops. Weather changes quickly on the outer coast, so bring layers even when Victoria feels mild.
