Giant's Head is an extinct volcanic dome that rises above Summerland and gives the town its most useful viewpoint. From the summit you can look across Okanagan Lake, south toward Penticton, and west over the orchards and vineyards.
You can hike from lower trails or drive partway up the narrow road and walk the final section. Go early or late in summer, when the exposed slopes are less hot.
