This restored section of the Kettle Valley Railway runs a 90-minute heritage train trip through dry Okanagan hills west of Summerland. The ride is short, but the steam locomotive, open views, and old railway story make it more than a novelty.
The highlight is the approach to Trout Creek Trestle, where the line crosses high above the canyon. Book ahead in summer and check the operating calendar, as the railway does not run every day.
