The boardwalk is the heart of Telegraph Cove: a line of weathered wooden buildings and docks wrapped around the harbour. It is one of the last old boardwalk settlements on Vancouver Island, and even a short stroll gives the place its sense of history.
Parts of the boardwalk were rebuilt after the 2024 fire. That makes it worth checking current access, but it does not erase the appeal of the cove's compact, saltwater setting.
