Beacon Hill Park is Victoria's great urban park, stretching from the edge of downtown toward the sea. It mixes flower beds, open lawns, ponds, Garry oak meadows, and viewpoints toward the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains.
It is easy to fold into almost any Victoria walk, especially if you are moving between the Inner Harbour and Dallas Road. Come for a calm hour, a picnic, or a longer wander when the city starts to feel too tidy and busy.
