Turtle Mountain Provincial Park is the natural counterpoint to Boissevain's flat prairie setting. The land rises into wooded hills with lakes, trails, campgrounds, and places for hiking, cycling, riding, and paddling.
It is a good stop if you want a quieter Manitoba park than the better-known lake country farther north. Bring your own transport; the park is spread out and public transit is not part of the plan.
