Morden Corn & Apple Festival

Late-summer downtown festival built around free corn, apple juice, music, and street events.

The Morden Corn & Apple Festival is the town's big annual event, held downtown around Stephen Street in late August. Its signature is simple and very prairie: free corn on the cob and apple juice, backed by live music, vendors, and family events.

Time your visit for the festival only if you like small-city crowds and street programming. Outside that weekend there is no site to tour, but the festival explains a lot about how Morden presents itself: agricultural, sociable, and proud of its local produce.
