Pinawa is easiest by car. From Winnipeg, follow Highway 59 north, Highway 44 east, then Provincial Road 211 toward town; the drive usually takes about 90 minutes. There is no useful public transport for a day trip, and you will want a car for Pinawa Dam Provincial Heritage Park.
