Pinawa Beach is the town's easy summer gathering place on the Winnipeg River. It has sand, picnic space, a play area, volleyball, and a dock, with lifeguards usually on duty in the core summer season.
The beach is useful even if you are not swimming. It gives quick access to the river for paddling and makes a good low-key finish after walking the suspension bridge trail or visiting the old dam.
