Selkirk Lift Bridge is more landmark than destination, but it gives the riverfront a strong silhouette. Built as a Depression-era public works project, the vertical lift bridge connects Selkirk with East Selkirk and keeps the town visually tied to the Red River.
See it while walking or driving near the Marine Museum. It is a quick stop, not a whole outing.
