Le vieux chemin du Cap-Rouge is an easy out-and-back trail following an older route of the Cabot Trail through the site of a former Acadian settlement. Interpretive signs add the human story to the coastal and highland scenery.
It is a good low-pressure walk near Chéticamp for visitors who want history and landscape without committing to one of the longer Cape Breton Highlands hikes.
