Les Trois Pignons is the cultural centre that explains Chéticamp best. Its Museum of the Hooked Rug and Home Life covers Acadian settlement, domestic life, genealogy, and the local hooked-rug tradition, including work by Elizabeth LeFort and other craftspeople.
It is small, but it gives the village depth. Stop here before treating Chéticamp as just another pretty Cabot Trail harbour.
