Salmon Pools is a longer out-and-back trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park, following a river canyon through Acadian forest. The route is about 9.5 km return and is best for hikers who want a quieter woodland walk near Cheticamp rather than only roadside Cabot Trail viewpoints.
