New Glasgow is on Nova Scotia's north shore, just off Highway 104, about 165 km northeast of Halifax and about 20 km south of the ferry terminal at Caribou for Prince Edward Island.
Maritime Bus services between Halifax and Cape Breton stop in the area. Travellers without a car should check current schedules carefully, as rural Nova Scotia connections are not frequent.
