Ship's Company Theatre is Parrsboro's cultural surprise: a professional seasonal theatre with a strong Atlantic Canadian focus. Its home grew from the beached ferry MV Kipawo, which gives the place a nice Parrsboro mixture of maritime salvage and live art.
The theatre is seasonal, so it is not a guaranteed stop. When a show is running, it turns Parrsboro from a daytime Fundy village into somewhere worth staying into the evening.
