Eagle's Nest Park rises above the north side of Bancroft, with a short hike leading to a wooden lookout platform over the town and the York River valley. It is the easiest high view in the area and a good first stop if you have just arrived.
The trails are short enough for a casual visit, but the exposed rock and pine give a quick taste of the Canadian Shield landscape around town.
