Petroglyphs Provincial Park

Petroglyphs Provincial Park protects the largest known concentration of Indigenous rock carvings in Canada. The carvings sit under a protective building, and photography is not allowed, which helps keep the experience focused on looking rather than collecting an image.

The park is run with local First Nation involvement and also has short hiking trails, lakes, and wildlife. It is the strongest cultural reason to come to this part of the Kawarthas.
