Calabogie Peaks is the village's main draw, a small but serious ski hill on Dickson Mountain with downhill runs, tubing, and a lake-and-hills setting that feels much farther from Ottawa than it is. It is not a western mountain, but for eastern Ontario it is one of the stronger winter options.
Outside ski season, the resort shifts toward hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and lake activities. If you only have one day in Calabogie and want the place at its most active, start here.
