Walker House Museum

Restored 1850 harbour hotel, now a small museum of Kincardine history.

Walker House began as a harbour hotel in 1850, when Kincardine was still the settlement of Penetangore. It is now a heritage centre and small museum, useful less for grand exhibits than for putting the lighthouse, harbour, and early Lake Huron settlement in context.

The building sits close to the water and pairs naturally with the lighthouse. Check opening hours before planning around it, as small local museums often keep seasonal schedules.
