Antoine Mountain is Mattawa's local ski hill, set above the Ottawa River valley northeast of town. It is not a giant resort, but it gives the area a proper winter draw, with downhill runs and broad views over the forested hills.
For travellers, it makes most sense if you are already in the Mattawa area in winter or combining the town with Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park. Check operating days and snow conditions before committing, as small Ontario ski areas are weather-dependent.
