Getting There

Huntsville is about two hours north of Toronto by car on Highway 400 and then Highway 11. The drive is straightforward. Ontario Northland operates a bus service from Toronto (Bay Street terminal) to Huntsville that takes roughly three hours; there are a few departures a day in summer. There is no passenger rail service — Via Rail's Toronto-to-Sudbury train stops at Gravenhurst but not Huntsville. Most visitors drive, and a car is essentially necessary once you arrive if you want to explore the surrounding parks.
