Centennial Park stretches along the St. Clair River north of the Blue Water Bridge, with a waterfront boardwalk that gives the best views of the bridge, the river traffic, and the American shore at Port Huron. The Bluewater Trail running through the park is the local walking and cycling spine; the path continues north toward Point Edward and south to Sarnia Harbour.
The park was the site of the long-running Sarnia Bayfest music festival, which brought major rock acts to the riverbank between 1999 and 2012. Today it is the prime spot for a sunset walk or a picnic before the lake breeze drops at dusk.
