Aguasabon Falls and Gorge

Boardwalk viewpoint over a 100-foot waterfall dropping through ancient north-shore rock.

A short boardwalk from the parking area leads to the viewing platform over Aguasabon Falls, where the river drops into a narrow gorge before running toward Lake Superior. Spring melt gives it the most force, but the view is worth the stop through the warmer months.

This is also one of the easiest access points for a short taste of the Casque Isles Trail. If you only have an hour in Terrace Bay, spend it here.
