Stanhope Beach is the gentler counterpart to Brackley, with the same Gulf-facing sand and dune landscape but usually fewer people. It suits a slower beach day, especially if you are staying along the north-shore cottage roads.
The beach is part of Prince Edward Island National Park, so the usual park rules apply. Winds, currents and dune closures can change the mood quickly; pay attention to the posted signs.
