Baie de la Tour shows Anticosti's coast at its most spacious. Cliffs, open water and birdlife make it a good counterpoint to the inland canyons and forest.
It is a place to slow down rather than tick off. Bring binoculars if you have them; the bay is one of the better spots for watching the island's seabirds and marine life from land.
