Parc des Cèdres is Aylmer's main waterfront park, stretching along the south shore of Lac Deschênes at the western end of the neighbourhood. It has a sand beach that fills up on summer weekends, a boat launch, and a picnic area with views across to the Ontario shore. The park is a key node on the Voyageurs cycling path, making it a natural rest stop for cyclists coming from Gatineau Park.
The beach is supervised in summer and is calm enough for families, though the lake is a broadening of the Ottawa River and the water temperature stays cold well into July. In winter the park is quiet but the paths stay open for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing when conditions allow.
