Fishery Interpretive Centre

The Fishery Interpretive Centre in Rivière-au-Renard tells the story of one of the Gaspé Peninsula's busiest fishing harbours. Its exhibits move from the old cod fishery to the technology and working routines of the modern industry.

It is a useful stop if you are exploring the north side of Gaspé or driving toward Forillon National Park, where fishing history is part of the landscape as much as the cliffs and coves.
