Hyman & Sons General Store preserves one of Grande-Grave's old commercial centres on the shore of Gaspe Bay. The restored store recalls the business run by William Hyman, whose family traded imported goods and worked in the cod fishery that shaped this part of the Gaspe coast.
Inside, shelves of period goods and small museum displays explain how fishing, farming, logging, and trade fitted together in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
