Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie is the big nature day from La Malbaie. The Malbaie River cuts through a deep glacial valley, with high cliffs, forest, waterfalls, paddling, cycling, and some serious hiking.
The park deserves more than a casual hour, especially if you want to tackle the Acropole-des-Draveurs trail. For a lighter visit, river activities and valley paths still give a strong taste of the landscape.
