The Knowlton Circuit is a free self-guided walk through the village's old streets, churches, public buildings, and Victorian houses. Knowlton was founded in the 19th century and still carries the look of an Anglo-Quebec county town, with Coldbrook Park and the lake close by.
Do it before lunch, when the village is quiet and the old houses are easier to notice between the shops.
