Percé UNESCO Global Geopark

Coastal geopark above Percé with Mont Sainte-Anne trails, lookouts, and a suspended glass platform.

The Percé UNESCO Global Geopark gives the village a good land-based day out when you are done looking seaward. Trails climb Mont Sainte-Anne and Mont Blanc to viewpoints over the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Percé Rock, and Bonaventure Island, with geological stops that explain why this coast looks so raw and layered.

The headline feature is the suspended glass platform, set high above town. It is easy to dismiss as a photo prop, but the view is strong, and the trail network makes the geopark more than a quick lookout stop.
