The Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes sanctuary is a wooded Catholic pilgrimage site on Mont Rigaud, begun in the late 19th century. Even if you are not religious, the hillside setting and devotional paths make it one of the town's most distinctive places.
It is best visited quietly, with time to walk rather than just park and look.
