Rimouski Regional Museum

The Rimouski Regional Museum occupies the old stone church near the centre of town and gives Rimouski a cultural stop that is not only about the river. Exhibitions mix regional history, contemporary art, and photography, with enough variety to make it useful on a wet afternoon.

It is a modest museum, but worth pairing with a waterfront walk if you want to understand the city beyond its role as a base for Bic and Pointe-au-Pere.
