Parc des Chutes is the town's easiest win: a proper waterfall within walking distance of Rue Lafontaine. Trails and footbridges follow both sides of the river, with viewpoints above and below the 33-metre drop.
Come early or late if you want the place quiet. In winter, the frozen walls make the park feel more northern than its town-centre location suggests.
