Magasin général Dumulon is a restored 1920s general store and post office near Lake Osisko. It tells the story of Rouyn-Noranda's early mining settlement through the kind of ordinary business where prospectors, workers, and families once met.
The museum is small, but it gives the city a human scale. After hearing about mines and smelters, it helps to stand inside the shop that served the first boomtown years.
