Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix

Long-distance trail network with St. Lawrence viewpoints, forest shelters, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix is the main reason to stop in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The network runs through forested high ground between Cap Tourmente and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, with lookouts over the St. Lawrence River, Isle-aux-Coudres, and the Laurentian hills.

In summer it is a hiking route with refuges and longer point-to-point options. In winter it becomes a snowshoeing and cross-country skiing area, with enough snow and distance to feel properly backcountry without being far from the main road.
