Gaspésie National Park

Gaspésie National Park is the great reason to base yourself in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. The road south from town climbs into the Chic-Choc and McGerrigle mountains, where trails reach alpine plateaus, bare summits, and cold lakes.

Mont Albert and Mont Jacques-Cartier are the names to know. Weather can be severe even in summer, so treat the park as mountain country, not a casual roadside stop. On a clear day it is one of Quebec's best inland landscapes.
