Îles-de-Saint-Timothée Regional Park is the easiest way to turn Valleyfield into a proper summer outing. The park sits among low islands east of the centre and has a sandy supervised beach, picnic areas, walking paths, and rentals for simple water activities.
It is popular with local families, so arrive early on hot weekends. Outside peak beach hours, the islands are still worth a slow walk or bike ride through the St Lawrence greenery.
