MUSO - Musée de société des Deux-Rives

Local society museum focused on Canada's textile industry and Valleyfield's mill-town past.

MUSO gives Valleyfield the context a waterfront stroll cannot. Its permanent exhibition tells the story of Canada's textile industry through the old Montreal Cotton Company and the workers whose labour shaped the town.

It is a small museum, but a useful one if you want to understand why this canal city developed the way it did. In summer, the museum also runs cultural activities and urban-history walks.
