Parc Aylmer-Whittom is a straightforward outdoor stop west of town. Short trails lead to observation towers with views over Conan Island and the western side of Sept-Îles Bay, and the park is good for birdwatching.
It works best as a low-key walk after the museums, especially if you have a car and want to see more of the bay edge.
