The Shaputuan Museum, formally the Maison de transmission de la culture innue Shaputuan, is one of the most important stops in Sept-Îles. Its permanent exhibition explains Innu life through the four seasons, with the focus on culture that is still present rather than culture sealed behind glass.
Go here early in a visit. The city makes much more sense when the Uashat mak Mani-Utenam community is part of the picture.
