Chapelle de Tadoussac is small, plain, and more moving for it. Built between 1747 and 1750, the wooden chapel looks over the bay from the old village core and is one of the oldest surviving places of worship in Quebec.
It is not a grand church visit. The appeal is the age of the building, the river air around it, and the sense that Tadoussac's trading-post history still has a physical trace.
