Les Jardins à Fleur de Peau is a lakeside garden created by local artists on Lake Blouin, about 5 km from downtown Val-d'Or. It mixes flowers, sculpture, bonsai, small water features, and Asian-influenced details.
It is a seasonal, gentle stop, best after the heavier mining history at La Cité de l'Or. Check opening days before you go, as the garden has traditionally operated mainly in summer.
