Broken Hills Trail

Longer West Block loop from Belza Day Use Area through broken prairie hills above the valley.

Broken Hills is a longer West Block walk for travellers who want more than roadside viewpoints. The loop leaves from the Belza Day Use Area and moves through rolling, cut-up prairie above the Frenchman River Valley.

It is exposed and takes several hours, so it needs the same respect as a backcountry walk: water, sun cover, and a plan for changing weather. For a shorter taste of the park, choose 70 Mile Butte instead.
